After that we had some lunch and went back to the village. The next morning we woke up early to go to Venice for a night. We got the bus to Bolzano and got the train to Venice. The train ride was smooth, because the train system is very good in Italy. We saw a massive cruise ship. We had found info the night before that these MASSIVE cruise ships actually go in the canals. It's ridiculous and now they are stopping taking them there because it is ruining the structure of the canals. We went over water, over land, over water again, until we came to the train station. We got off and started walking away from the train station, over one of the 400 bridges that go over the canals. The first thing I noticed was there were no cars, no trucks, nothing except for boats. We saw a boat that was equivalent to a construction truck, we saw a taxi boat. You could get anywhere and everywhere on boats. Not to mention the beautiful Gondolas; about 20ft long, they are a sleek black, with red chairs or cushions for the tourists as the Gondola moves swiftly but gracefully through the city's famous canals.
