When we woke up we got breakfast served to us with tea, from our driver. After that we packed up our things, said goodbye to the caravanserai, and we drove off. On the way back, Mum spotted camels, so then our driver veered off to go and say hello. There were a lot of camels, but there was one that I really liked, and it liked me too. I spent a while just standing with it, patting it. Camels are funny creatures. The driver gave me a piece of bread to feed to the camel. She enjoyed that piece of bread because she doesn't get it very often.

After that we went to Kashan, picked up Hossein and drove off to a place called Abyaneh, which means "water or not" because when people were looking for a place to settle, this was the question that was needed to be asked. Abyaneh in fact, has a good source of water. Abyaneh is where I saw my first Iranian snow close up. In Abyaneh, there is a mosque that has grapevines that were one thousand years old. They also had stables underground, where the animals go in winter. There is also a castle on top of the hill, where we took some great photos. Unfortunately, we couldn't go inside. At Abyaneh was where we said goodbye to Hossein. Our next stop was having lunch at a place called Natanz, where there is a shrine on top of a very tall mountain. We asked our driver about it and he said that people have to climb up there. We guessed that it is a very sacred shrine. I was asleep for the rest of the trip to Esfahan.
